Uses and Information About Ground Blinds

When most people hear the term “ground blinds” they think of hunting.  Ground blinds can be used for so much more. In fact I recently read a review from a fellow hunter who said that they use their 10 year old Ameristep ground blind for an outhouse when he’s camping! They are also a great way to get perfect photos of wild life.

When we decided to write our blog about ground blinds and the many ways that you can use them, we never thought we would run across someone that used theirs in that capacity - but it does show you just how versatile and functional one of these can be!

Ground blinds make a great alternative to a tree stand, especially if you are afraid of heights or lack large trees in the area where you hunt. Many are large enough to accommodate even a bow hunter when they draw and shoot. Some include their own fold down seat. They are a great way to teach your children how to hunt and keep them on the ground. One of the most important features of a ground blind is their ease in mobility. It is easy to pick them up and move them from one deer trail to another, even in one day.

So how do you choose a ground blind? Trying to choose one can be a daunting task. One of the things to keep in mind is the size of the blind you will need for your hunt. Smaller ones will work for rifle hunting, but if you plan to bow hunt, you will need a bigger one so that you will have enough space to be able to comfortably draw your bow. It is also important to consider the area that you will be hunting and make sure that your ground blind will blend into the terrain.

At Milonajo Enterprises you will find a great variety of ground blinds to choose from. If you have any questions and need help making a choice, you are welcome to contact us and we will provide you with some solid advice that will help you choose the right one to meet your needs.
